Easy vanilla panna cotta

Homemade vanilla pannacotta with cherries and basil

Easy vanilla Panna Cotta, amazing served simply with fresh strawberries or cherries in syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 375 ml of double cream

  • 125 ml of whole milk

  • 50 g of sugar

  • ½ vanilla pod (seeds only) or 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 6 g of edible gelatine leaf bronze

  • To make the panna cotta, mix the cream with milk and sugar. In a saucepan, bring the mixture to a boiling, until the sugar is melted. Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Melt the pre-soaked gelatine into the panna cotta mixture, and let it cool down slightly. Pour the mixture into individual bowls or moulds and let it set in the fridge for about 6 hours until firm.

  • You can let the panna cotta set into serving bowls or glasses and serve the panna cotta directly on the table.
